My life has been a bold mix of business and sports—pushing limits in both arenas. My mantra is that you never know who’s
watching, so give them something to be proud of.
By the time I got my real estate license, I was a seasoned businessman and investor. However, I was getting too cozy in my comfort zone, and I felt it was time for a change—a bold move that helped me evolve. Real estate was an area where I could help people by offering my expertise in investment. It felt like a natural, yet daring transition away from my role as a hockey rink business owner.
If you’d told me as a teenager I’d become a business owner, I might have laughed. Back then, I was completely obsessed with sports. Once I started playing for teams outside of school, I was hooked. I joined every league I could and loved the energy, the structure, and—most of all—the coaches. I consistently won “Most Improved Player,” and early on, I saw the power of having a mentor to guide and push me.
By 18, I was coaching a kids’ hockey team. Soon after, I was hired as a referee, then as an assistant manager, and eventually became director of the hockey rink. It was the perfect job—I could still play hockey, one of my deepest passions, while also diving into the business side. I was coaching, running leagues, hiring and training staff, and even teaching parents about the game.
A big turning point came when my then wife and I had our first daughter, Caitlin, when I was 22. Becoming a dad pushed me to grow up quickly. While I enjoyed my job, I needed something that offered more financial stability, which led me to a sales position at Toyota.
Now, I know car salespeople can get a bad rap, but that experience taught me so much about listening and communication. I focused on helping people understand the product—educating them so they could decide what was best for them. I was never pushy, and that approach made me a top salesman multiple times over the five years I worked there.
During that time, I had my second daughter, Colette, purchased three homes, and eventually bought my own hockey rink: 949
Roller Hockey Center. I was back in my element—managing a rink and competing internationally with Team USA (Masters and Veterans League) as a hockey player. I even had a side business manufacturing hockey pucks. Hockey wasn’t just my passion—it was my life and my livelihood.
After many years of working in the rink, I wanted a new challenge—a new rhythm. I sold the rink to the Anaheim Ducks and began transitioning out of the hockey world. That’s when real estate came into focus. I already had firsthand experience as an investor, a solid network in Orange County and Inland Empire, and years of business and sales under my belt. I got my real estate license in 2019, and just 10 months later, I earned my broker’s license.
Today, I’m the California team leader of Team RDP, brokered by eXp. I still coach—but now I coach agents. I help grow our team’s local reputation and guide new professionals the same way my coaches once guided me.
And the love for sports? That’s still with me. I recently secured my Philippine citizenship and am currently competing to qualify for the Olympics in cross-country to represent the Philippines. It’s a long road with several rounds ahead—check in with me to see if I made the cut!
My daughters are in their 20s now, building lives and careers of their own. I’ve remarried—Selina is my partner in life now. Between family, business, and sports, my days are full—but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My goal is simple: to make my loved ones proud and to keep growing, always.
I know firsthand how life-changing real estate can be. Investment properties helped me achieve my own dreams, and now I’m passionate about helping my clients do the same. With a background as an athlete, I bring a mindset of discipline, determination, and possibility: if you can dream it, you can achieve it. I love working with clients who think big—and I’m the ally who helps make those dreams a reality.
Beyond investing and rehabbing homes, I’m also a skilled negotiator, committed to securing the best deal for my clients. I
understand how much is at stake and how overwhelming the process can feel—especially for first-timers. That’s why I focus on strategy, clarity, and the details that matter most.
Having personally bought, sold, and invested in real estate, I’ve experienced the good, the bad, and the costly. My mission is to help clients avoid common pitfalls and move forward with confidence. Whether you’re investing or buying your first home, I’ll guide you through every step—so you feel informed, protected, and empowered from start to finish.
With gratitude,
Eddie Limbaga
